- Application Process -
First step is to choose the program you wish to study and the university you wish to study in, then submit all the required documents to the university and pay the university admission fee. Within a month of completing this procedure, the university will contact you to inform you of your admission status.
For students who have not decided which university or city to study, the easiest way to gain admission to study in Georgia is to fill out the admission office application form or send your documents to info@admissionofficege.com within 24 hours, you will receive free guidance from our team of professionals.
Requirements for obtaining admission to most Georgian universities.
- A Clear Photo of the first page for your passport.
- A Clear Photo of the High school Certificate (Marks sheet Transcript).
- Your Email.
- University application fee.
- Video Interview or Online Interview.
The cost of applying for admission varies in different universities. Among the top 24 universities in Georgia for international students, the minimum acceptance fee is $300 and the maximum acceptance fee is $600. Please note: Admission fees are non-refundable.
There is no age limit to apply for a degree program in Georgia. Bachelor Degree aplicants must have a Grade 12 matriculation certificate (equivalent to GCE).
Most universities in Georgia do not have an admission deadline. Therefore, students can gain admission at any time of the year.
However, there is a deadline for getting admission to join the fall academic session (September batch) or spring academic session (February/March batch). Usually, the deadline is a month before the start of the required academic course.
University approval comes within 10 working days. While the procedures for translating documents, notarization, recognition and registration take about 25 working days, depending on the university and the program to which the applicant applied to study in Georgia.

The average annual cost of studying and living in Georgia is $8,000 per academic year for non-medical students and $10,000 for medical students.
We recommend students to allocate $300-$500 per month for accommodation in downtown Tbilisi. and $200-$350 for housing outside of Tbilisi.
The cheapest study program in Georgia is Bachelor of English Philology for $3000 per year in The University of Georgia.
Yeah! The Georgian government has many special financial policies for students such as:
- Subsidized public transportation fare for students ($0.09 per ticket on public buses and city metros).
- Student savings accounts in banks.
- Student Cards (Students get occasional sales and discounts with this card).
- Discounts on paid parks, museums, attractions, and more.
Currently, there are no offers for full scholarships for foreign students from the Georgian government.
Some universities in Georgia offer partial scholarships to international students ranging from 25% on the total tuition fee and higher. This scholarship is only available to students who are doing well academically.
Yeah! You can study and work as long as your work does not interfere with academics. However, we recommend that students have a financial plan that you do not rely on to find a job in Georgia.
Most universities in Georgia encourage students to develop their entrepreneurial skills while in Georgia.
The average cost of utility bills in Georgia for a one- or two-bedroom apartment during the warm season is $50 (120 GEL) per month. and $100 (220 GEL) per month in the winter.
