Caucasus's International University
It has been 23 years since the founding of Caucasus International University (CIU) – LLC.The university operates as a legal entity of private law – a limited liability company. The university was established as a medical institute “Clinitsist” in 1995. The university obtained a license from the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Georgia in the same year. In 2005 he was accredited by the Accreditation Council of the Higher Education Institution. In 2006, the name and founder of the “Clinitsist” Institute was changed and formed as a multifaceted higher education institution – Caucasus International University – LLC.
Caucasus International University has gone through the licensing process very successfully and was granted a six-year licensing by a joint resolution of the Accreditation Board of the National Center for Quality Improvement of Education in 2018 (14.11.2018 Resolution No. 88). The highest evaluation document among higher education institutions in Georgia was issued.
Caucasus International University – LLC was granted 5-year institutional accreditation on the basis of the decision taken by the Accreditation Board of the Higher Education Institution in 2007. Thereafter, CIU was granted 5-year licensure on the basis of the decision taken by the HEI Accreditation Board of the National Center for Quality Improvement of Education in 2012. During the last mandate period (from 2012 – present) up to 30 undergraduate, one-cycle, post-graduate and doctoral programs of Caucasus International University LLC were awarded accreditation.
According to the decision of the Board of Authorization of the National Center for Quality Improvement of Education issued on July 14, 2015, the application of Caucasus International University was approved, and in accordance with the decision of the Board, the number of students of the university was set at 4,700.
On March 4, 2019, by a unanimous decision of the members of the Accreditation Board for Higher Education Programs of the National Center for Quality Improvement of Education, the number of CIU students increased by 2,700 and was determined in total at 7,400

The documents required for admission are:
- A clear copy of the first page of your passport.
- A clear copy of the school’s graduation certificate (marks sheet).
- Your Email.
Admission’s Status :
After you apply, within 7 working days of fulfilling the application requirements, We will send you an official letter of Admission Request from Caucasus’s International University (CIU).
Based on the signed offer letter, The admissions office (AdmissionOfficGe.com) will start the registration procedure.
The procedures for translation, notarization, recognition and registration take about 2-4 weeks.
The university does not have a deadline for admission.
Students can gain admission to join the Fall Academic Session (September Batch) or Spring Academic Session (February/March Batch).
Once the invited applicant submits personal identification and educational documents to Caucasus’s International University, the documents will be submitted to the National Center for Education Quality Improvement and to the Ministry of Education and Science for Ministry registration. Once the registration procedure is successfully completed, the university will inform the applicant of the successful registration to study in Georgia.

Once you have successfully completed the registration procedure, the university will send you official invitation letters – along with other documents – that will be required for the applicant to apply for a study visa to the nearest Georgia embassy.

Caucasus’s International University participates in the Bologna Process and is recognized in both Europe and the United States.
Caucasus’s International University is accredited by the Georgia Department of Education and Science. It is accredited by the National Education Quality Improvement Center.
The university is a member of ENIC-NARIC (ENIC – European Network of Information Centers in the European Region, NARIC – National Academic Information Centers of the European Union).
MCI Acknowledgment :
Caucasus’s International University has recently obtained accreditation – Medical Council of India (MCI), which means that the University of Georgia is listed among the foreign universities recommended by the Indian Medical Council.

Caucasus International University cooperates with leading European and American universities and offers exchange programs in various European universities for students for one semester or one year.
